Ski-in ski-out resort in northern Italy
Colfosco is a small ski resort situated at 1645 metres above sea level in the Italian Dolomites above the town of Corvara in the Alta Badia region.
In the winter months, the village is located at the heart of the lift system on the Sella Ronda ski circuit between the town of Selva in the Val Gardena and the Alta Badia.

What makes Colfosco a true ski-in ski-out resort?
The village is located on the way up to the Gardena Pass which separates the settlements of the Val Gardena from the Alta Badia. This means that skiers coming from the direction of Selva will pass Colfosco while descending the slopes to Corvara on the Sella Ronda. Skiers heading in the other direction will use the ski lifts outside Colfosco on the way up to the pass.
Colfosco is not just a village that skiers pass by on the ski lifts or slopes however. It has its own connected lift system – including two gondolas – which access some interesting intermediate level trails around the Edelweiss mountain hut and restaurant (which is also a favourite apres-ski location).
