East Coast ski resort closing dates – 2019

As the end of March approaches, it’s time to take a look at when some of the ski resorts on the east coast of the USA are planning to close down.

Vermont ski resort closing dates

Killington – Definitely riding and skiing through May and if conditions hold out into June? Nearby Pico closes March 31 then reopens for weekend April 06-07
Mount Snow – at least until April 07 and then, depending on conditions, probably “well into April”
Okemo – April 14
Smugglers Notch – April 14 is the last day for 7-day week services, reopens Easter weekend with April 21 final day Easter sunrise mountain service
Stowe – April 21
Stratton Mountain – April 14
Sugarbush – open daily through to April 28 and then reopens for Cinco de Mayo weekend

New Hampshire ski resort closing dates

Cannon Mountain – April 15 (with possibility of reopening on April 20-21 if conditions allow)
Cranmore Mountain – March 31 (weather-dependent weekend skiing into April)
Loon Mountain – April 14

Maine ski resort closing dates

Sugarloaf – May 05 (weather conditions permitting)
