Colorado ski resorts – 2021 opening dates

The main Colorado ski areas are planning, as usual, to open in the last week of November. At the time of writing, three ski resorts are already operating and, as fresh snow is forecast in the mountains, more lifts and more ski resorts may be joining the list earlier than forecast.

Ski resorts in Colorado – already open

The usual suspects for early Colorado skiing area already up and running, and opening more ski lifts as soon as fresh snow permits.

  • Keystone has three lifts and and two trails open and is reporting a base snow depth of 18 inches.
  • Arapahoe Basin has one ski lift serving one run and a terrain park with a base snow depth of 19 inches.
  • Loveland Pass has one chairlift and three beginner runs open with a base of 18 inches.
